IDA-MA volunteer Gail Walker has started a Change.org petition to demonstrate the widespread support for our “dark-sky bills” now pending in the Massachusetts Legislature. The petition has just been up for a couple of days, and it’s already garnered nearly 400 signatures.

As a reminder, identical bills have been filed in the Senate (S.2147) and House (H.3306). If passed by the Legislature and signed by Gov. Baker into law, these bills will establish the most comprehensive statewide outdoor-lighting regulations in the country!
