We’re thrilled to announce that the 2025 annual meeting of DarkSky Massachusetts will take place on Saturday, November 1st, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m at the Maynard Fire House in Maynard, MA (map).
This year’s meeting will again feature two keynote speakers: Debbie Moran, an engaging Advocate with DarkSky International specializing in the topic of police, glare and safety; and Vick Mohanka, Executive Director of Sierra Club Mass, on advocacy.

Three more great speakers who have led or been involved in successful municipal lighting projects will be our panelists for a workshop entitled “How to Change a Municipal Light Bulb”:
Jeff Boettner – Shelburne Falls
Tim Brothers – Pepperell
Tom Ryder – Needham Town Engineer
Learn from the best how to overcome hurdles and positively engage stakeholders in bringing dark sky friendly lighting to your municipality or to solve bad municipal lighting issues.
Our business meeting will include the introduction of four committees focusing on key areas of our work together, the result of strategic planning earlier this year.
We hope you will join us there November 1st!
