We’re excited to announce that the annual meeting of DarkSky Massachusetts will take place on Saturday, November 2nd, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. We’ll be hosted by the town of Becket in western Mass, and our meeting will take place in Becket Town Hall, 557 Main Street, Becket, MA 01223 (map).
This year’s meeting will feature two keynote speakers: John Barentine, Ph.D, an expert in the science of light pollution, and Leora Radetsky, Director of the Design LIghting Consortium’s LUNA program. Check back here soon for the finalized agenda, including practical workshops.
In the meantime, we hope you’ll plan to attend, in person or virtually. If you’re coming in person, please sign up using Eventbrite. Seating is limited, and we’ll be opening registration to local community members in the Becket area. So please register ASAP to secure your spot.
If you want to attend virtually, please sign up using Google Forms. You will receive a reminder a few days before the meeting which will include a Zoom link. Again, the meeting will be from 1:30-4:30 p.m. on Nov. 2nd.
